2025: A Year in Review for MAi Group
Thank you all for your incredible support throughout our busy year of 2025. What a year it has been! Many of you may have heard about our activities on Centreforce Radio, but for those who haven't, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all that we've accomplished together.
In addition to completing several successful projects, this year has been quite "eventful." Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to in 2025—a year filled with highs and lows, but every moment was worth it.
Remembering Malcolm
Sadly, we lost one of our founders, Malcolm, earlier this year. Malcolm was instrumental in building MAi Group into the company it is today, and his legacy lives on in everything we do. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family—and to our MAi family, who knew and loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.
Celebrating Alex's Milestone Birthday
On a brighter note, our other founder, Alex, celebrated a wonderful milestone by turning 80 this year. We wish him continued health, happiness, and prosperity in the years ahead. His vision and dedication over five decades have shaped MAi Group into what it is today, and we're grateful to still have his wisdom and guidance.
50 Years of MAi Group
In June, we marked our 50th year of trading with a fun day out in London. To celebrate this incredible milestone, we chose a darts venue—with the playful "aim" to hit as many bullseyes as possible! It was a fantastic opportunity for the team to come together, celebrate our history, and look forward to the next chapter of MAi Group.
Supporting Young Athletes
We're proud to sponsor the Townmead Under 8's football team in West Drayton. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to boosting children's confidence, encouraging teamwork, and promoting healthy lifestyles. More than that, it's about fostering a sense of community and creating positive, lasting memories for young players and their families. Seeing these youngsters develop both on and off the pitch has been truly rewarding.
A Busy November
November was an especially busy month for MAi Group, with two significant events that highlighted our commitment to community engagement.
On Sunday 9th November, we sponsored the Tunbridge Wells Wellness Fair, where community members could meet local practitioners, explore holistic therapies, and participate in workshops and inspiring talks. It was fantastic to connect with the community and support an event dedicated to health and wellbeing.
We also hosted our annual Teddy Bear Ball—a wonderful evening filled with style and purpose. The event, hosted by our accountants Blue Rocket Accountants and sponsored by MAi Group, raised an impressive £11,900 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Whether through raffle tickets, auctions, games, or generous donations, your support made it all possible.
The professional photographs beautifully captured by Graham Baker Photography truly reflected the spirit of the night—a far cry from the selfies we took! We're incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to such a worthy cause.
Tenacious on Centreforce 883
Tenacious is a London-based trio of House Music DJ/Producers made up of Dave Reeves, Steve Reeves, and Lewis Belliss. Renowned for their unique style and deep passion for Underground House Music, they have built a loyal following through their acclaimed weekly radio show, broadcast every Saturday night on Centreforce Radio 883 DAB & Online.
Delivering the finest selection of Underground House, Tenacious continues to push boundaries and connect with listeners worldwide. Producers and labels are welcome to submit promos and exclusives for airplay by reaching out to Tenacious here.
